Walt Disney World® Golf, operated by Arnold Palmer Golf Management, is pleased to announce that we have completed significant enhancements to our on and off course food and beverage services.
In late 2015, we introduced Chip and Dale as our Food and Beverage Ambassadors, along with the initial phases of our food and beverage service and facility improvement plans to improve our Guest experience. These plans included the introduction of fixed service locations around our courses to allow golfers to take advantage of the enhanced services and selection, while also facilitating the improvement in pace of play by an average of 15 minutes per round by not using roving service carts around the courses. This is an improvement in pace of play that has been well documented through golf course operations studies, leading to improved Guest experience and satisfaction.
At each of the Walt Disney World® Golf courses, there are now strategically placed fixed location food and beverage stations with a variety of hot and cold beverages, sandwiches and snacks for your enjoyment. Please check your scorecard, and course maps on each of our golf carts for details on these locations, as well as on course restrooms and water fountains.
At Disney’s Palm, Disney’s Magnolia and Disney’s Oak Trail golf courses, we present the On The Green Grill, which is located adjacent to Disney’s Magnolia putting green. The recently updated location, formerly operated by the Shades of Green Resort (see the photo at the top of this page) and which has an attached outdoor patio, is open from 10:00 am – 4:30 pm daily for a wide variety of lunch, refreshment and snack offerings. Stop by before your round to stock up, or after your round to relax with friends while sharing your great experience.
At Disney’s Magnolia and Disney’s Oak Trail golf courses, we introduce the Chips & Slices snack shack, which is located near the 13th green at Disney’s Magnolia golf course and near the 4th green and 5th teeing ground on Disney’s Oak Trail golf course. This facility has pre-made breakfast and lunch sandwiches, hot dogs and snacks along with a variety of beverages to provide for an efficient “Grab ‘n’ Go” mid-round energy and hydration boost.
Finally, at Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, next to the pro shop, we introduce our enhanced Chips & Slices location, with a relaxing outdoor patio setting under the shade of tall trees. As with our other locations, there is a wide variety of hot and cold breakfast and lunch menu items, along with beverages and snacks. Stop by before your round, at the turn or after your round to take advantage of the food and beverage items available and relax in the shade.

Don’t forget to stock up your golf cart with food and/or snacks and use the 2-gallon ice coolers provided to keep your beverages cold as you play, to stay well hydrated during your round.
