Walt Disney World® Golf, operated by Arnold Palmer Golf Management, is pleased to be hosting both the Hurricane Junior and Collegiate Golf Tours in late July.

On July 29 & July 30, 2017, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will hold the Disney Junior Classic on Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour.

On July 31, 2017, the Hurricane Collegiate Golf Tour will hold the Disney Collegiate also on Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course.

The Hurricane Collegiate Golf Tour was started in 2011 to give any golfer between the ages of 17 and 23 an opportunity to compete on some of the best courses on the east coast. This tour was also designed to give college golfers and aspiring college golfers, both male and female, a place to compete in a college tournament like environment, while keeping their game sharp in the off season.

We are excited to be hosting these two prestigious junior and collegiate tour events and look forward to welcoming the tour staff, players, their families, and others to the “Happiest Place on TURF!”
