Walt Disney World® Golf Will Be Hosting The 2017 Special Olympics Florida Invitational
Walt Disney World® Golf, operated by Arnold Palmer Golf Management, is very proud to again be hosting the Special Olympics Florida Invitational at Disney’s Palm and Magnolia golf courses April 26-27, 2017.
The title sponsor for the event is Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, with Co-Presenting sponsors Accenture and ServiceNow.
The scramble format golf event will consist of morning and afternoon shotgun starts both days due to high demand.
In 2016, this event generated over $1 Million dollars in proceeds that provided for the majority of funding for over 37,000 athletes from 54 counties in Florida and enabled them to participate in multiple sporting events in 2016.
In September of 2017, Walt Disney World® Golf will again be hosting the Special Olympics Florida State Golf Championships.
There are no costs to the athletes or their caregivers to participate in these events, so fund-raisers like the Florida Invitational are critical to maximizing the opportunities for Special Olympics athletes to get involved.
If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities for the event or volunteering, please visit the event page at Special Olympics Florida.
We want to thank all of the sponsors, our colleagues and associates for their continued and strong commitment to continuing to make this event a great success at the “Happiest Place on TURF!”
