First-Ever High School Golf National Invitational Kicks Off June 27th at Walt Disney World Resort
High school golfers around the nation are dreaming about winning a national championship in the first-ever High School National Invitational, so it should come as no surprise that organizers of the tournament decided to stage it at the place where dreams come true – Walt Disney World Resort.
The quest for a magical national golf title happens June 27-28 at Disney’s famed Magnolia and Palm golf courses – the same courses that have hosted some of the biggest names in professional golf over the years. The boys will play at Disney while the girls will compete at nearby Falcon’s Fire Golf Club. More than 300 young golfers are expected to compete during the two-day event.
Who knows? One of these aspiring golfers might eventually compete in a PGA or LPGA Tour event one day. If you want to catch them before they might become famous, there’s no charge for admission or parking at this tournament. And if you get the itch to play while you’re out there, then swing by our pro shop to book a tee time on any of our four courses. Or you can call 407-WDW-GOLF (939-4653) or go to www.golfwdw.com.
Give it a try and see if you can make your golf dreams come true, too!
