Begin Your Day With Walt Disney World® Golf's Sunrise 9!
Several years ago, we began to offer the ability to play 9 holes early in the morning, our Sunrise 9 promotion, or later in the day, our Sunset 9 promotion.
The Sunrise 9 promotion, with green fees as low as $35 plus tax, provides for tee times typically between 7:00am and 8:30am daily, allowing you to get out for a quick half-round of golf before your work day and/or meetings begin, or before spending time in the Walt Disney World® Resort theme parks with family and friends.
Sunrise 9 and Sunset 9 are available at each of the Walt Disney World® Golf courses. On the 18-hole courses, you will typically play the back 9 holes (10 – 18), where you can choose to either walk or ride a cart for play, and we also offer discounted rental rates on the latest TaylorMade golf equipment, if you don’t have your own clubs with you.
You’ll arrive at the bag drop, where a golf staff member will take your clubs and place them on a golf cart while you’ll park your car in the lot. You can drive to the courses, but please note that if you are staying at a Walt Disney World® Resort hotel, free transportation to and from the courses is provided for you.
Check in with the golf staff in the pro shop for your round. If you need any equipment like balls, gloves, or other accessories, don’t forget to grab those now. This is also where you’ll purchase pre-round range balls if you have time to warm up.
After checking in, head outside and grab your golf cart which was parked behind the pro shop, and drive over to Chip and Dale’s Deli on the far side of the practice green to get your pre-round breakfast sandwich and beverage, all of which is included with the Sunrise 9 promotion. You are offered an egg and cheese croissant, with your choice of bacon, ham or sausage. Your beverage choices include a coffee, soft drink, sports drink, juice or water, and specific options are subject to change.
This was a great time to sit, relax, set aside other distractions, and begin to focus on a great round of golf ahead. Having finished breakfast, it was time to head over to the range to loosen up and hit a few pre-round range balls.
Then drive back to the practice green to do some putting and chipping, as the last tune up before heading out to play.
Now it was time to visit the starter and check-in at the 10th tee. Where else can you be greeted by a starter wearing Mickey Mitts?
Once out on the course, it was great. The sun was low in the cloudless sky. It was quiet and made for a great, relaxing round of golf.

After finishing 9 holes, it is time to head back to Chip and Dale’s Deli for the post-round drink, which is also included in the Sunrise 9 promotion. You have your choice of a domestic beer, soft drink, sports drink or water, and again, specific options are subject to change.
Having hydrated, then head back over to the pro shop area and park the golf cart. The golf staff will assist you with your clubs and bring them back to the bag drop area, ready for you once you retrieve your car from the parking lot. Visit the golf pro shop and pick up any last minute merchandise gifts or memento’s to commemorate your visit with us.
We highly recommend that you consider the Sunrise 9 promotion, or if it better fits your schedule, the Sunset 9 promotion, later in the day.
The Sunset 9 promotion offers green fees as low as $29 plus tax, for daily tee time windows varying seasonally (starting between 3:00pm and 5:30pm) depending upon when sunset occurs. Enjoy a fresh hot dog and a pre-round beverage (domestic beer or soft drink) on us.
