Our golf courses are experiencing an impact from Hurricane Ian, which is causing disruption to our Golf and FootGolf facility operations. To learn more, please continue reading, or contact our Walt Disney World® Golf Reservations Center at (407) WDW-GOLF (939-4653).
Thank you for your interest in Walt Disney World® Golf! This daily bulletin is intended to provide you with an update on the situation evolving with Hurricane Ian, and how it is affecting our golf facilities and their regular operations.
At this time it has been decided that Disney’s Palm, Disney’s Oak Trail, and Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Courses will all be closed for play on Friday September 30th, Saturday October 1st, and Sunday October 2nd. Our driving ranges and practice facilities are closed, as well as all instruction and FootGolf tee times have been cancelled. We are not cancelling any subsequent days play at this time, and a decision will be reached on Sunday October 2nd for this coming week based upon how much the flood waters are able to subside.
You are welcome to contact the Walt Disney World® Golf Reservations Center in order to either cancel or modify future reservations confirmed for play at Walt Disney World® Golf in the coming days. We will continue to post the most up to date information here to continue to inform you as to when our facilities will be available for play. We need to allow our maintenance team to have an opportunity on Friday to assess the damage to our facilities from either wind or water that would prevent us from being able to re-open our courses in the coming days.
If we decide to remain closed for play, and you have an active tee time still reserved, then please expect to receive a phone call and/or an email to confirm our status ahead of your date of play.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause to your plans, but our decisions are made with the safety of our staff and all of our guests being the priority.
Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time!
